Although A. E Ward & Son built its reputation on supplying stones to the  jewellery trade,  over the years we have expanded our field of operations. We now supply stones and give technical advice to the  television,  film and publishing industries.
00000We have supplied stones for various television  programs,  including Lovejoy, Campion, The Paul Daniels Show, Dr Who and many more.
00000The movies we have worked on include , Indiana Jones - The Last Crusade, Superman - The Movie, Mel Gibson's Hamlet, Oscar Wilde, The Mummy,  Gladiator and  Chocolat.
00000Our cutting workshop was involved in the cutting of some crystal pendants worn in the film, The Musketeer, starring Catherine Deneuve, Tim Roth and Stephen Rea, and worked on the Rowan Atkinson film, Johnny English.
00000We cut and supplied the stones for the jewellery that features in director Matthew Vaughan's (Layer Cake) film, Stardust; a fantasy based on the book by Neil Gaiman, starring Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeifer  and Clare Danes.
00000More recently we have been involved in the new Bryan (X-men) Singer film Jack and the Giant Killer and The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's sequel to the successful Lord of the Rings trilogy.
