Gemstone Teatments |

Gemstone and organic substances are
often treated by artificial means to improve their colour and appearance by methods other
than cutting and polishing. To the best of our knowledge the descriptions of all
goods sold by us conform to the rules laid down by the C.I.B.J.O. |

Stone Sizes |
|
Most
gemstones are now cut on machines that give exact calibration for their
overall dimensions. There is universal use of standard sizes. This allows
for ease of use in mass manufacturing. The majority of the gemstones we
offer are A quality stones, cut to standard sizes with a tolerance of + or
- 0.1mm If you require a stone that falls outside one of the standard
sizes then it will almost certainly have to be specially cut, either in
house or by one of the overseas lapidaries with whom we work closely. For
accuracy when ordering please give the shape of stone you require along
with the measurements. |

Property & Risk |
|
Until the goods have been paid for
in full:- No part of the property in the goods
shall pass to the customer. The customer shall hold the goods
as bailee and shall not dispose of them,
save as agent for the company. The customer is responsible for loss or damage. |

Approval |
|
Where necessary, for higher priced goods, we offer a 14 day approval
service. Items returned from approval must be returned with appropriate
documentation. Items returned after the 14 day approbation period will be
subject to a 10% restocking charge unless prior arrangements
have been made. Subject to account status. |

Returns |
|
Returns will only be accepted if the goods are
in their original packaging and are accompanied by a facsimile of the
original paperwork. Goods returned after four weeks will be subject to a
handing charge unless by prior arrangement. |

We do
not deal in "conflict" diamonds and are supporters of the Kimberley
Process. |
