Apatite
Apatite is a naturally occurring gemstone. While it is known for its asparagus green hues, apatite actually can be found in a wide variety of colours ranging from colourless to pink, yellow, blue and violet, and has a vitreous lustre.
00000Apatite is very soft and is not a practical gemstone for everyday wear. Jewellers should also beware. Apatite is very vulnerable to acid and solvent attack, and should not be subjected to ultrasonic cleaning.
