Black Sapphire

Black sapphire is a low quality form of the stone and is mostly mined in Australia. It is virtually opaque but sometimes has a bluish tinge. It is found in great abundance and as such is of little value. Its low cost makes it a popular feature of much inexpensive jewellery
00000The sapphire is associated with many magical powers, including the ability to heal wounds, and as an antidote for poisons.

00000It is believed to amplify intuitive ability, and is useful as an aid to meditation.
00000We supply sapphires of all qualities and keep a wide stock of "fancy" colours.
