Jasper

Jasper is an opaque, impure variety of silica, usually red, yellow or brown in colour. It is most commonly seen in Celtic jewellery its orangey red colour contrasting sharply with the grey agate and bloodstone associated with this type of jewellery.

We are now carrying a variety of jaspers in stock as well as the basic red type. Some of the varieties are, Leopard Skin, Brecciated, Dendritic and Picture.
