Amazonite

Amazonite is a green microline mineral, a member of the feldspar family. Despite its name, no deposits of it have been found along the River Amazon. Fine quality Amazonite can sometimes be mistaken for jade, but the usual quality available is easy to distinguish with its white veining. It is still an attractive stone in its own right and is often used in semi-precious jewellery. It is a relatively soft stone, reaching only 6-6.5 on the Moh scale.
00000It is
said to calm one's emotions and soothe nerves, and to enhance creativity and the ability to express oneself. Perhaps the strongest recommendation of its metaphysical powers is that Amazonite is said to make your married life happier.
